Designs for Primitive Rug Hookers
by Jenny Rupp and Lisa Yeago
The newest addition to Rug Hooking Magazine’s Framework Series of books. I’m proud to point out that three Spruce Ridge artists have featured projects in this book! Cindi Gay shows how to slip cover a hand bag, Keith Kemmer uses color, value, and texture in his Shaker Diamond Mat, and Kris Miller gives a lesson on hooking with roving in Old Saint Nick. There are 19 terrific projects to choose from; instructions and patterns are included along with lots of helpful information. No rug hooking library would be complete without this book!

Roving
Mohair
Beautiful soft gray mohair from my pampered angora goats. It has been washed and carded into roving (a continuous loose “rope” of mohair). Blended with soft gray sheep wool. Overdyes beautifully. Perfect for hooking sheep and other animals, or for beards or hair on people. I recommend using a primitive hook when working with mohair roving.
Price 4 oz $8.00
