Notforgotten Farms Adaptations

Lori Brechlin

Lori has been a designer of primitives for over 20 years. She enjoys creating designs for counted cross-stitch, samplers, stitcheries, and needle punch. Her most recent folk art endeavors include designing unique primitive note cards and holiday cards and stitching old world bears that are made from mohair and upholstery velvets and adorned with one of a kind vintage accessories. She is also an accomplished rug hooker and painter.

Lori, her husband Peter and their daughter Hannah live in an old farmhouse in the Blue Ridge Mountains. They share their beautiful surroundings with sheep, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, and donkeys. Her work has been shown in Country Sampler Magazine, Country Marketplace Magazine, and Rug Hooking Magazine. She also drew many illustrations for the now defunct Holly Berry Hill Catalogue. Lori’s primitive note card designs are featured in the February 2006 issue of Country Home Magazine. You may also find Lori’s whimsical artwork and bears on e-bay under her seller name NotforgottenFarmPrimitives.
